THE FENG SHUI

Feng Shui means “Wind” and “Water”.

It helps orient and protect the “Wind” and capture “Water”, symbol of wealth. Feng Shui was born in China 5000 years ago. Science of the earth, it is based on experimentation patiently accumulated by the masters in Feng Shui. Protecting from the wind and being set up near watering points was crucial to promoting life, agricultural and economic development. Some places were so favorable. The masters in Feng Shui deduced from these observations the principles of Qi and the foundations of Feng Shui. This ancient Asian art also existed in Europe under the name of “geomancy”.

The goal of Feng Shui is to balance our environment in order to live in harmony with it. Feng Shui creates more well-being and wealth. It is based on the study of Qi, vital energy that fills and influences all things and all living things in the environment. Qi acts on our well-being and in all areas of our lives.

According to the Chinese, Feng Shui represents a third of luck! The first third is represented by “the luck of heaven”, or fate. These are the dispositions and skills with which you were born. The second third is “the chance of man” your actions, your perseverance to accomplish your goals in existence. Feng Shui represents the third third of luck. “The luck of the land” is determined by the favorable or hostile place where you live.

The feng Shui proposed here is based on 4 main schools: SAN HE, BA ZHAI, SAN YUAN and XUAN KONG DA GUA.

SAN HE is the teaching of relief and external forms and its impact is the most powerful.

BA ZHAI is calculated according to the date of birth of each individual and will be defined by 8 palaces with good or bad energies.

SAN YUAN includes 3 time cycles of 3 periods each of 20 years. Temporal changes affect QI.

XUAN KONG DA GUA is based on the combinations of Ba Gua (64 hexagrams) and allows you to select favorable dates for your projects.

THE QI

Qi, cosmic vital energy, fills and influences all things and living things in the universe, without even being aware of it. Principle of vital energy of our body, it is also used in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), acupuncture, martial arts (Qi Gong, Tai Chi, Shiatsu, Kung Fu …).

There are different qualities of Qi. The beneficial Qi or “Sheng Qi” and the damaging Qi or “Sha Qi”. For a good Feng Shui, we need the right amount of Qi and avoid the harmful Qi or Sha Qi.

The Qi moves around us like a flowing river, channeled by relief, hills or buildings in the city. It is this movement or its absence that helps or disadvantages us. To obtain a beneficial effect in Feng Shui, we need to find in our environment the flow of Qi in which we feel at ease and in peace.

THE YING YANG

According to the Taoist conception of the world, Qi is the cosmic vital energy. It arises from the interaction of Yin and Yang forces. Our environment is a balance of these two forces. Yang represents everything that is dynamic, sunny, dry, high, open, clear, noisy, masculine. Yin is soft, dark, moist, closed, low, silent, calm, feminine. The practitioner in Feng Shui aims to balance the Yin and Yang of a place, to bring a better circulation of Qi.

THE 5 ELEMENTS

The Qi that surrounds us is composed of Yin and Yang and Five energies or Elements that interact in cycles of production, exhaustion, control, in our environment.

To harmonize our environment, we must identify them and balance them with each other respecting their nature and interaction.

The 5 elements are represented by specific materials, shapes, colors to use wisely.

They are especially to optimize in the living and working places, by selecting the best locations and possible orientations of the building according to the study of the wind and the water.

Then, it’s about finding the best locations and possible orientations of the main pieces and furniture. All this can be deduced from the many and sometimes very complex formulas that are studied with confirmed and honest masters, to guarantee their effectiveness, according to general data, but also personal data of the occupants.
