These days, a truly top-class restaurant has to offer more than just sensational food. Dining out has become a multisensory experience and Sushisamba Dubai – located on the 51st floor of the St Regis Hotel in Palm Jumeirah – has embraced the challenge with style.
The highest restaurant on Dubai's iconic island, it has spectacular 360-degree views taking in the Arabian Gulf and the stunning Dubai skyline. The dynamic interior also offers plenty to catch the eye, from the walls of lush greenery to the oval marble bar and the open kitchen with sushi counter and robata grill.

The concept was born from a blend of influences from Japan, Brazil and Peru, and the interior of Sushisamba Dubai references each of these vibrant countries in a cohesive and dynamic way. The Japanese-style bar and lounge area is based on balance and proportion, and furnished with natural wood; while the main dining area introduces drama, with exuberant textiles and a 3D-printed bamboo ceiling installation. The restaurant makes a fun architectural statement, setting the scene for a gastronomic adventure that's just as a unique and exciting.
Eid Al Adha 2024: The Top Holiday Destinations for the Upcoming Long Weekend
To mark both International Sushi Day on 18 June and Eid al-Adha, the restaurant is offering a special, limited-time ‘Samba Around the World’ dinner menu from 16 to 18 June, which showcases signature samba rolls served at Sushisamba restaurants all over the globe. The dishes are presented in the order in which the different restaurant locations opened: for example, El Topo, from Las Vegas, features salmon, mozzarella and crispy onion, topped with a burger; the Tiger Maki from London blends ebi, eel tempura, king crab beetroot yogurt; the luxurious Samba Dubai – the restaurant’s most popular dish – marries Maine lobster with aji honey truffle and mango; and the Pinagi from Doha combines teriyaki eel with tamago and grilled pineapple.
Diners who visit the Dubai restaurant between 16 and 18 June will also get a first taste of Sushisamba's upcoming new openings: from Sushisamba Singapore, set to open this summer, there is the Samba Chili Crab; while from the Abu Dhabi and Riyadh restaurants, both opening later in the year, there are, respectively, the Wagyu Dhabi and the Bahia Roll.
Alongside the ‘Samba Around the World’ dinner menu, diners can indulge in the Vivo Business Lunch (two courses for AED169), weekdays from 12 to 3pm, perfect for an elevated business meeting. For downtime with friends and family, the new Alegria Weekend Lunch (AED249 for two courses), from 1 to 3.30pm on Saturdays and Sundays, offers a chef-curated selection of Sushisamba Dubai’s signature dishes – including Black Cod, Crispy Yellowtail Taquitos and Japanese Doughnut Andagi – set to uplifting tunes curated by the restaurant’s resident DJ.
While the fish and seafood for all the dishes is flown in from Japan to ensure authenticity, the fresh produce and vegetables are sourced locally, for ultimate freshness and sustainability. This attention to detail is reflected throughout the restaurant, and is evident both in the superb quality of the food and the matchless, multicultural guest experience in the sky.
