Over the past two decades, Wong has become one of America’s leading landscape designers – a pioneer in melding tropical planting with innovative spatial planning. Trained in architecture and interior design in his native Panama, he turned to landscape design after moving to the United States in 2001, and founded Fernando Wong Outdoor Living Design in 2005 along with his partner, Tim Johnson, who authored the book.
